Congrats to transfer senior Ford DeShazo. He scored his 1,000th career point in Summit's 66-37 win over Giles County. Coming into this season, he only needed 48 points to surpass the 1,000 point mark. Ford had previously amassed 952 points while playing for Grace Christian Academy in Franklin. The Spartans are 3-0 to start the year and Ford is fitting in nicely with the core group of returning players. It should be a fun season to watch.
