After back to back wins in the district tournament, the Lady Spartans are headed to the District Championship game.

Opening Round

Summit 16, Indy 6

The girls opened up a huge lead in the middle innings behind the bats of Brooklyn Robertson, Audrey Cathey, Mia Veloz, Bella Uppinghouse and Sam Malcolm who each had two hits a piece. Sam Malcolm lifted one of her hits out of the ballpark for a home rum. Addyson Willingham contributed with 4 RBIs on the night. Mia Veloz pitched long into the night to earn the win.

Another game that looked more like a football score. Summit's bats are on fire. Addyson Willingham went 3-4 with a HR and 4 RBIs. Paityn Robertson and Bella Uppinghouse also went 3-4. Audrey Cathey contributed with a 2-3 night, a HR, 3 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Mia Veloz was again the winning pitcher in this one.

Summit will play the winner of the loser's bracket on Wednesday night at 7:00pm at Columbia Central for a shot at Regionals.
